This policy explains what personal information is collected when you contact Roman Royss about a booking, why it is collected, and what is done with it. It is written to meet Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

Who is responsible

Roman Royss, a performer operating in Toronto, Ontario, is responsible for the personal information described here. Questions about this policy can be sent to magic@romanroyss.com.

What is collected

This site does not host its own enquiry form. Booking enquiries are made through the form on romanroyss.com, by email, or by phone. When you make an enquiry you may provide your name, email address, phone number, company name, and details of your event such as its date, venue and guest count.

This site may use Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel. They set cookies or similar identifiers in your browser to count visits, see which pages and buttons are used, and measure whether advertising on Meta platforms leads to booking enquiries. They record technical information such as your device, browser, approximate location and the pages you view — not your name or contact details. Google and Meta process this information under their own privacy policies.

You can refuse or delete these cookies in your browser settings, opt out of Google Analytics with Google's browser add-on, and control ad personalisation from your Meta account under Ad Preferences. Your browser's own storage is also used to remember that the opening animation has already played during the current session; that value never leaves your device.

Why it is used

Information you send is used only to reply to your enquiry, prepare a quote, arrange and perform the booking, and keep the records required for accounting and tax purposes. It is not sold or rented. Aggregated visit data may be used to show Roman Royss advertising to people who have visited this site.

Who it is shared with

Personal information is shared only where it is needed to deliver the booking — for example with the venue or event planner you have named — or where disclosure is required by law. Email and hosting providers process the information on our behalf as service providers.

How long it is kept

Enquiry correspondence is kept for as long as it takes to answer it and to service any resulting booking. Records connected to a completed booking are kept for the period required by Canadian tax law, then deleted.

Your rights

You may ask what personal information is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted, by writing to magic@romanroyss.com. A reply will be sent within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with that response, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

Security

Enquiry correspondence is held in access-controlled accounts and this site is served over HTTPS. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

Changes

If this policy changes, the revised version is published on this page with a new date at the top.
